Exercise 1 - Push Ups
Check out the next instalment in the Paint Pot Chronicles! The sun is shining so why not do some push ups!
We call this the Paint Pot Chronicles!
Starting Position: Grab your finest pots of paint and place them just outside of shoulder width and get on your knees.
For the easier version, place your hands on each pot and extend your legs out behind you. For the harder version place your hands on the floor just outside shoulder width, extend your legs behind you and place your feet/toes on top of the pots.
Think your body as a straight line from head to toe, clench your glutes and abs and steadily lower yourself until your elbows are at a 90 degree angle or your chest hits the floor. Ensure your elbows are tucked in and flared out wide.
Pause slightly at the bottom and explode back up until you are back at Step 3 ensuring you extend your arms straight!
Do as many reps as you can for 5 sets but do not forfeit your form!
